The Manhattan Photo Awards 2024 aim to recognize and showcase the finest photography from
around the world. We are dedicated to providing a platform for photographers to gain international
exposure, celebrating their exceptional work across a range of categories. After a careful selection
process, we honor the winning images that best capture the spirit, creativity, and unique perspectives
worldwide. We are pleased to highlight and announce the winners, celebrating their artistic achieve-
ments and contributions to photography. Our mission is to spotlight the incredible talent and artistry
our awards attract, bringing attention to the global community of photographers and their outstanding
contributions to the visual arts.
Following this edition of the Manhattan Photo Awards and an extensive evaluation process, we have
selected the winners of this highly competitive contest, which received hundreds of submissions in
categories such as Architecture, People, Fashion, Abstract, and more. The winners were officially
announced on August 7. Our jury convened multiple times to assess each image, contributing unique
critiques that sparked engaging debates.
Comprising renowned photographers, curators, and industry experts from around the globe, our jury
carefully evaluates each submission to ensure a fair competition. Members assess entries based on
originality, technical skill, composition, and emotional impact. This diverse panel brings a wealth of
experience, ensuring that the most deserving photographers are recognized. Through multiple rounds
of evaluation, the jury selects winners who embody the artistic vision, creativity, and excellence that
define the Manhattan Photo Awards.

1ST PLACE
CHIARA FELMINI @CHIARAFELMINI, ITALY.

Chiara Felmini was born in Turin, Northern Italy, in 1965.
Her journey with photography began at the
age of 8, when her father gifted her her first camera,
which she still treasures today. Since then, she has
continuously observed the world through the camera
lens.
Her fascination with the environment and the world
around her grew alongside a passion for travel. With
over 30 years of experience working with animals,
both professionally and as a passion, photographing
them came naturally. Over time, her love for travel
introduced her to documentary photography and
reportage.
Chiara’s approach to photography is rooted in
storytelling, with a focus on emotional and aesthetic
exploration. She constantly seeks out light, color,
and the perfect moment, while also valuing the inte-
ractions with people she meets along the way. For
her, photography is not just a hobby but an essential
part of her life, offering insights into human nature.
Her work has gained recognition through publica-
tions in magazines like Oasis, Photo Professional,
and National Geographic Italia, as well as accolades
in national and international competitions such as
National Geographic, Travel Photography of the Year,
IPA, PX3, and MIFa. Chiara has exhibited her work in
several Italian cities, including Turin, Piobesi Torine-
se, Tortona, and Reggio Emilia. She has also show-
cased her photography at the prestigious Festival of
Ethical Photography in Lodi and has contributed to
the Atlas of Humanity project, with exhibitions in Mi-
lan, Paris, and New York. Occasionally, she presents
her work during cultural and photographic events.
